Srinagar: Association of Parents of Disappeared Persons (APDP) has welcomed the recent human rights report of the office of United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) on the situation of human rights in Kashmir, published on 8th July, 2019, which covers the alleged human right violations in Kashmir from My 2018 to April 2019.
In a statement issued to press, APDP while welcoming the said UN report has demanded whereabouts of the disappeared persons, who have been allegedly abducted by the forces or state backed militia. It has alleged that the practice of enforced disappearance is still on. (CNS)
