Anantnag police recovers abducted lady, accused arrested

SRINAGAR: Anantnag Police recovered an abducted  lady and arrested the accused involved in the crime.

Police station Srigufwara received a written complaint  by one person (name withheld ) that his wife was  kidnapped by one person namely Zahid Nazir Bhat son of Nazir Ahmad  Bhat resident of K-Kalan Anantnag.

On this information Police station Srigufwara lodged a report and investigation was set into motion.

During the investigation, Anantnag police recovered the lady and arrested the accused involved in the crime. After completion of legal formalities, the lady was handed over to her family members.

A case FIR number 12/2017  under section  366 RPC was registered against the abductor and further investigation is going on.
