New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah engaged in a cordial meeting on Wednesday.
Speaking during the Rising Bharat Summit 2025 hosted by CNN-News18, Shah according to Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Dot Com said his recent meeting with Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was cordial and focused on development and governance.
“We have always supported regional governments equally, without any bias,” Shah said, adding that the Centre is committed to working with J&K’s elected leadership.
“We will not let anyone conspire to spread terror in J&K. If anyone tries such things, they will be punished,” the Minister warned, and said that national security is a top priority for the government. (KDC)
