SRINAGAR: Bhartiya Janata Party state spokesman Altaf Thakur welcomed the appointment of former IG Farooq as the security advisor to Governor Satya Pal Malik stating that the state administration will utilise the services of Khan and the state will move ahead on path of peace and prosperity.

“I welcome the appointment of Khan and I am very hope under his dynamic leadership and given his vast experience, state will witness a new era of peace and prosperity,” Thakur said in a statement here. (PTK)
