SRINAGAR: Peoples Democratic Party youth general secretary and MLA Wachi Aijaz Ahmed Mir visited various areas of his constituency and held a public darbar on Wednesday today.
He was accompanied by Media Consultant to J&K Government, Suhail Bukhari and secretoral officers of all the departments.
While giving patient hearing to public grievances, Mir called upon the officers to address all the issues that were brought into his notice on the occasion.
Mir released around Rs 1 Cr from his constituency development fund (CDF) for different developmental works which includes augmentation of electrical system in the area. He assured the people that development works in the constituency will be expedited.
“Reaching out to every nook and corner with sole motive of extending the benefits of the welfare schemes and mitigating the suffering of people is the resolve of our party and government,” he added.
President PDP Wachi Peer Nazir Ahmed ,block presidents and other local senior party workers were also present on the occasion.
