Srinagar : Authorities on Saturday morning placed Hurriyat Conference (M) & Awami Action Committee Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house arrest at his Nigeen residence ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kashmir.
“A heavy contingent of police arrived at Mirwaiz Manzil Nigeen & placed him under house arrest,” said a spokesman. (KNS)
