Pulwama : A day after authorities ordered restrictions of public transport in Srinagar, authorities have decided to suspend the movement of public transport in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the movement of public transport shall remain suspended in the district as a precautionary measure to avert the threat of spread of Covid-19 for safety of public till further orders, said Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Dr Raghav Langhar.
It is worth to mention here that first positive case of deadly coronavirus was reported in Kashmir on Wednesday evening.
The women who had arrived Kashmir from Saudi Arabia on March 16 was tested positive and has been kept in isolation by the authorities.
The total toll of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir has mounted to four including three from Jammu and one from Kashmir—(KNO)
