SRINAGAR: Traffic on Srinagar-Jammu strategic national highway, connecting Kashmir valley with the rest of the world remained suspended for the third consecutive day on Wednesday due to fresh landslides.
Reports said that hundreds of vehicles remained stranded at different places on the highway. However, some passengers covered the landslide-hit area on foot to reach their destinations after boarding other vehicles.
Official said that fresh landslides that hit the Srinagar-Jammu highway near Kheri in Udhampur district resulted in suspension of vehicular movement. He said that clearance work at Anokhifall is going on. (PTK)
