Delina Baramulla: Today Govt Higher Secondary Institute Delina held a impressive function. The function was attended by Chief Education Officer Baramulla Mr Shabir Ahmad Khan, Dy Chief Education Officer Baramulla Sh Harminder Singh, Principal Aijaz Ahmad Wani and Zonal Education Officer Mr Fayaz Ahmad Shah.
In the function a beautiful and well composed School Prospectus 2024,25 was released by the Chief guest. In the second session NEET Qualifiers Adnan Sofi and Sahil Nabi Wani of GHSS Delina were felicitated by the School. The momentos to the shining starts were given away by CEO,Dy CEO,Principal GHSS Delina and Zonal Education Officer.
Worthy Principal Mr Aijaz Ahmad Wani in his welcome address spoke about the rich past of Govt Higher Secondary Institute Delina. He mentioned some great administrators of the school including Mr Nishat Ansar, Mr Ismail Sb, Mr Tafazul Razvi, Mr Gulam Hassan Ganai and so on.
The school has produced officers, administrators, professors, lecturers, police officers , lawyers , Doctors, Engineers, poets, Social workers and so on, he added. Chief Guest Mr Shabir Ahmad Khan in his presidential address applauded the school staff for achieving impressive milestones.
He said it is quite impressive that despite some difficulties the school is doing well. He impressed upon Principal, lecturers and teachers to work with same zeal and zest to bring impressive results in future too. The function was hosted by PEL Mr Firdous Ahmad Lone. Others who shared the podium include Vice Principal Ms Tabassum Sherwani, Senior Lecturer Qazi Syed Sajad, Lecturer Dr Haris Hamza Lone and Mr Tariq Manhas.
