Rajouri : Kickstarting public out reach programme in Pirpanjal a head of Parliamentary elections, J&K Peoples Democratic Party (JKPDP) Parliamentary Board Chairman Mohammad Sartaj Madni today held various meetings Dantkote Darhal, Saaj and Palnger area of Darhal- Thanamandi Assembly segment. Madni is on five day tour to twin border districts along with party’s election incharge Mohammad Rashid Qureshi and other senior leader which include senior party leader Master Tasaduq Hussain , Ab Qayoom Dar & Adv Maroof Khan.
In his address Madni recalled Late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s love towards Poonch & Rajouri with a vibrant vision & mission for boosting economic condition of people of pirpanjal. His key role in establishment of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Mughal Road , Face lifting of Shahdara Sharief area, Indo Pak Talks, Softening of Borders, Socio Economic condition of nomads and unemployment issues in the area was always a priority for him. He always used to say that the region need empowerment and wanted to make both the border districts equal stake holder in all sectors including in political front. Madni said that it was Mufti’s dream to bring the region on economic prosperity and make it to be gateway of economic activities for central Asia. He had seen a ray of hope in this region and always emphasised to carry ideology rather than ethnic rivalries which hamper development processes, Madni said and added that Mufti’s personal affection towards people of Pirpanjal need to be reciprocated in equal measure and exhorted to redouble efforts to strengthen the party at gross root level.
On this occasion senior party leader Mohammad Rashid Qureshi urged the party workers to gearup for upcoming so that the voice of people reaches the highest echelon of democracy.
