Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference has expelled its Constituency Head Kreeri Syed Basharat Bukhari from party over alleged anti-party activities.
Taking to micro-blogging site, JKPC, wrote; Syed Basharat Bukhari (@AnNaqvi_Bukhari), Constituency Head Kreeri is hereby expelled from the party, for indulging in anti party activities.”
“Also all @JKPC_ and @YJKPC_ units of Kreeri stand dissolved and will be reconstituted after the new Constituency head assumes charge”, concludes the tweet.
Notably, Syed Basharat Bukhari, known for his broadcasting skills at Radio Kashmir Srinagar (now AIR Srinagar) has served as MLA from Sangrama constituency in erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Bukhari also served as Minister of Law, Justice, Parliamentary Affairs, Revenue, Horticulture & DMRRR in Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s cabinet, and later on switched over to Sajjad Gani Lone’s Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference.
