Srinagar: Help and care welfare society along with TEAM APWAS Today held an inauguration Ceremony of a book written by Dr. Dinesh Shahra at Srinagar.
The inauguration ceremony was a solemn tribute to the late Lata Mangeshkar ji, a renowned Indian playback singer, and musician. The event saw a gathering of music enthusiasts, fans, and followers of the iconic singer. The ceremony began with a brief introduction by the author, Dr. Dinesh Shahra, who expressed his gratitude towards Lata ji’s immense contribution to Indian music.
The highlight of the event was the heartfelt tribute paid to Lata ji by the children who sang some of her popular songs. The audience was mesmerized by the soulful renditions of the songs. It was a heartwarming moment for everyone present, as the children captured the essence of Lata ji’s music in their performances.
Dr. Shahra is on his visit to Kashmir for promoting Sanatan culture. At the event, Dr. Shahra emphasised the importance of Sanatan values and Sanatan music for a healthy, happy and successful life. He talked about Kashmir as the cradle of Sanatan culture and how we must appreciate its contribution to arts, spirituality, music and culture. Dr. Shahra also released his 3 books in the Sanatan series during the event, Sanatan Didi, Sanatan Utsav and Sanatan Wisdom.
Dr. Shahra is a farm sector reformist and a foremost authority on Indian agriculture. Dr. Shahra considers Business Ethics and Spiritualism the two most important facets of his personality. His upcoming project Sanatan Leela Music aims at bringing awareness about the healing power of music and Sanatan values of oneness, joy and compassion. In a series of Sanatan books, he recently launched his latest book Sanatan Didi based on the life journey of Lata ji inspired by Sanatan values. With a mission to empower society by promoting the Sanatan value of Vasudev kutumbakam.
The ceremony was concluded with the distribution of gifts to the children as a token of appreciation for their wonderful performance. Students and other participants were given mufflers, bags and wallets as a token of appreciation. DSF also donated Rs 1 lac for the cause of women’s empowerment and livelihood program. The event was a fitting tribute to the legendary singer, and the book “Tribute to Sanatan Didi” is a befitting tribute to her legacy.
