Bandipora: Gunshots heard, cordon, search operation underway 

Bandipora : Gunshots were heard near Lowdara village of Bandipora district of north Kashmir on Saturday late evening, police said.

Soon after the incident, a joint team of Army and police launched a search operation in Lowdara and Vijahara areas of the village.

“A few gunshots were heard at around 09:25 pm near Lowdara village following which a search operation was launched in the area of the village,” an official said, adding, the search operation is underway and the details about the incident are awaited.
