Srinagar, Oct 17 : Life returned to normal on Tuesday after three days in Pulwama and Shopian districts in south Kashmir, where two Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants, including a district commander, were killed in an encounter with security forces October 14.
A civilian was also killed and four others were injured when security forces allegedly opened fire to disperse demonstrators near the encounter site in Pulwama.
However, internet service of all cellular companies, including Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), was resumed on Monday after remaining suspended for four days in south Kashmir to prevent spread of rumours on the social network.
