Policeman dies of bullet injury in Jammu

Jammu, May 1, KNT: A policeman died due to bullet injuries in the Jammu district on late Saturday, said official sources.

They identified the deceased as a constable aged 33, who belonged to Pascal village in Bishnah falling under the jurisdiction of Arnia Police Station.

An official said that either it has been a suicide or the cop died due to accidental fire.

“Investigation has been started in this matter and inquest proceedings under section 174 of the CrPC have initiated.,” he added. (KNT)
