Govt should address issues of teachers, academic institutions: Monaga

SRINAGAR : Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Monaga today said that the government must take the issue of teacher seriously as they are suffering immensely due salaries issues.

He said that they have some genuine demands to be addressed. He said that already school were closed almost for 6 months during unrest in 2016, which has affected students and teachers both.

He said that the government should release the salary of teachers. Adding that in some school there is shortage of water, which also need to be looked in. he said besides in many school there is a problem of teaching faculty.  Monga said that the should take serious to address issues within academic institutions.
