Two children among six persons injured in separate Ganderbal accidents

Ganderbal : At least six persons including two minor children were injured on Saturday in three separate road accidents in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a youth was injured after a vehicle (wagon R) turned turtle and fell into a deep gorge at Kachnambal Gujerpati, resulting in injuries to the three persons including two kids.

However, the two kids suffered minor injuries and a driver of a vehicle identified as Akhter Sheikh from Naranag, who has suffered grievous injuries, has been shifted to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment.

Another road accident took place at Wusen near the petrol pump between Tipper (JK17-1306) and Alto (JK16A-1371) in which two persons namely Rafiqa and Alto driver Yasir Ahmad Rather—residents of Bobsipora Gbl were injured.

The both injured were shifted to PHC Wusen Kangan wherefrom they were referred to SKIMS Soura.

In the third accident, a 60-year-old woman from Managam was hit by a sumo in Wussan area, leaving her wounded.

The injured was rushed to SDH Kangan where from she was referred to SKIMS Soura—(KNO)
