Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir reported 181 new covid-19 cases even as one person succumbed to the contagion in last 24 hours, officials said on Thursday.
They said 67 of the cases were reported from Jammu Division and 114 from Kashmir Valley, taking the case tally to 321207.
Providing the district-wide details, the officials told that Srinagar reported 37 cases, Baramulla 19, Budgam 11, Pulwama 12, Kupwara 7, Anantnag 8, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 11, Kulgam 8, Shopian 1, Jammu 3, Udhampur 2, Rajouri 13, Doda 24, Kathua 3, Samba 1, Kishtwar 10, Poonch 3, Ramban 1 and Reasi 7.
A number of these cases were confirmed at diagnostic labouratories of CD hospital and GMC Anantnag.
The CD cases include male (24) from Nowshera, male (28) from Baghwanpora, female (20) from Aglar Pul, female (25) from Baghat Srg, female (36) from Jammu, female (12) from Hafoo, male (15) from Tral, two females (7, 14) from Batagund, two males (55, 65) and two females (50, 65) from NA, female (NA) from Tangdar, male (8) from Kangan, male (12) from Batmaloo, female (40) from Khanyar, female (24) from Nowhatta, female (21) from Noorbagh, male (60) from Kralpora, male (67) from Pattan, two males (52, 45) from Lal Bazar, female (2) from Zakura, female (82) from Ishber, female (19) from Habak, male (29) from Kashmir University, male (29) female Mulfaq, female (48) from Shalimar and male (24) from Wadi Mohalla.
The GMC Anantnag cases include female (22) from Matalhama, four males (50, 40, 20, 55) and four females (30, 38, 45, 40) from A One Nepora and female (55) from Bhan.
While there was one fresh death due to the virus from Jammu, so far 4377 people have fallen victim to the pathogen in J&K—2141 in Jammu division and 2236 in Kashmir.
Moreover, they said, 175 more COVID-19 patients in last 24 hours have recovered— 66 from Jammu Division and 109 from Kashmir, taking the number of people who have recovered in J&K to 315686. With this, there are now 1144 active cases—434 in Jammu and 710 in Kashmir.
There was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 35 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials added. (GNS)
