Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir reported 84 new cases of novel coronavirus while one more person succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Thursday.
They said 20 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu division and 64 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total tally to 320340.
Regarding the death, they said, it was reported from Kashmir, taking the toll to 4373.
Providing the district-wide detail of the cases, the officials told that Srinagar reported 31 cases, Baramulla 9, Budgam 7, Pulwama 6, Kupwara 3, Anantnag 1, Bandipora 5, Ganderbal 1, Kulgam 0, Shopian 1, Jammu 5, Udhampur 1, Rajouri 1, Doda 8, Kathua 1, Samba 0, Kishtwar 1, Poonch 1, Ramban 0 and Reasi 2.
A number of new cases were confirmed at CD cases and include male (55) from Darbagh Pul, female (55) from Panzgam Pul, male (45) from Litter Pul, male (16) from Chewa, four males (16, 12, 11, 8) and female (14) from Mandora, male (18) from Midoora, male (51) from Crpf 180 BN, female (23) from Ladhoo, male (50) from Pulwama.
Moreover, they said, 172 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and include 51 from Jammu and 121 from the Valley.
There was no case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today and the cumulative number of confirmed cases remained at 35 in J&K, the officials added. (GNS)
