Infiltrators pushed back, Heroine worth Rs 30 Cr, arms, ammo recovered: Police
Kupwara : Jammu and Kashmir police on Friday claimed to have foiled this year’s first infiltration bid in Tangdhar sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Police in a tweet informed that Kupwara police along with Army’s 7RR and 87 battalion of BSF foiled infiltration bid in Tangdhar sector.
Police said that one AK47, one pistol, two grenades and other ammunition as well as 6 packets of heroin worth Rs 30 crores left by the infiltrators were recovered.

Earlier in the day, GoC 15 Corps Lt. General D P Pandey told reporters at Rangreth on Srinagar outskirts that this year so far there has been zero infiltration on the LoC in Kashmir—(KNO)
