Bandipora, : Incumbent Municipality Chairman Sumbal in Bandipora district is likely to sever ties with Peoples Democratic Party to join Bhartiya Janata Party.

Jahangir Ahmad Dar, as per reliable sources, has not been in good terms with the party leadership. “He over the time is having some differences with the party leadership which remain unaddressed”, they said adding that this likely is the reason for him to breakaway from the Mehbooba Mufti-led party.

They further said that Dar is highly likely to join BJP next week. (GNS)
