Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh on Sunday, a total of 40 persons tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, 38 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 02 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.
The bulletin further details that 96 patients were discharged by UT Ladakh and all were discharged by CMO Leh. The total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone down to 922; 811 in Leh district and 111 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informed that 267 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 12 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 11 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi Check Post on Saturday. And, 70 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 24 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were also screened at Khaltsi Check Post on Saturday.
