Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh Saturday, a total of 17 persons tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, 16 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 01 positive sample report was received by CMO Kargil.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 90 patients yesterday. Out of which 75 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 15 by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 583; 463 in Leh district and 120 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informed that 140 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 81 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 63 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi Check Post Friday. And, 237 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 116 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were also screened at Khaltsi Check Post Friday.
