People appeal Rail Authorities to resume services in Kashmir

Srinagar: People from different quarters of the valley on Tuesday urged Railway Authorities here in Kashmir Valley to resume their services.

A group of locals told that they are facing numerous hardships on a daily basis from all routes whether from Baramulla to central or south Kashmir due to blockade of train services.

Pertinently, Train services continue to remain suspended post Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.

They appealed to the Authorities to take final call and resume their services.

Meanwhile, a railway official told that they have not received any order from higher-ups regarding the resuming of their services.

“As soon as we will receive any order, services will be resumed without any further delay,” he said. (KDC)
