
Adnan has co-authored over 50 books

Tral: A 24-year-old youth from Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, who has won numerous awards, has co-authored around 50 bolks and besides being a writer, he is a poet, columnist, translator, reviewer and editor.
Adnan Shafi Bhat son of Mohammad Shafi Bhat, a resident of Chandrigam village of Tral, who has completed his post graduation in English Literature, has published a book and is currently writing six more books that will be published.
Adnan said that he has published his own book even as he is in search of right publisher to publish his six more books.
“The book titled “Tears Fall In My Heat” which has been published is a collection of around 90 poems with multi themes including Kashmir conflict, Nature, Seasons and religion.”
He said that he recently received an award from Gujarat Sahtiya academy for his poetry and besides that he has won over 50 awards and certificates at different stages.
He said that if the world wants to know the plight of Kashmiri people due to ongoing conflict, then they must go through his books as main theme of his books is Kashmir conflict besides other social issues.
Adnan said that he is also the editor of British and US poetry magazines and contributor writer for a Nepal based Newspaper and his poetry has been published in national and international magazines as well.
He said that he also writes columns for the national and international newspapers.
“My message to the youth of J&K will be that don’t be shy but come forward and contribute for the betterment of the society,” he said, adding that youth must use social media in a positive way to get more and more information—(KNO)
