Srinagar : National Investigating Agency (NIA) on Saturday seized property of allegedly accused in connection with Lethpora attack case in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Sources told news gathering agency Kashmir Dot Com-(KDC) that NIA has seized the house of Nazir Ahmad Reshi father of accused Irshad Ahmad Reshi in Trich Ratnipora area of Pulwama was seized measuring 17 Marlas.
In an order issued by the chief investigation officer, a copy of which lying with news agency Kashmir Dot Com- (KDC) reads, “Whereas, I Ravinder Kumat Dy.SP cum Chief Investigating officer of NIA, Case no. RC- 10/2018/ NIA-DLI, has reason to believe that property specified in the schedule noted hereunder represents proceeds of terrorism
and has been used for the furtherance of terrorist activities of a proscribed terrorist organization, “Jaish Mohammad”.
The order further reads, “The DG of NIA New Delhi has granted his approval to attach the property mentioned in the schedule here under in accordance with the provision of section 25(1) of UAPA, 1967. It further mentioned”.
Order further mentions that it has been directed to all concerned not to transfer sale or otherwise deal with the said property in any manner what so ever, except with the prior permission of the undersigned.
Pertinently, NIA has already presented a charge sheet of 13500 pages of Lethpora attack case and had arrested many accused. (KDC)
