South Kashmir : Gunfight rages in Pulwama Village

Srinagar  : An encounter broke out on Saturday between militants and government forces in Zadoora Village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

According to reports, on a specific information about the presence of militants, security forces launched massive cordon and search operation in Zadoora Village of Pulwama district.

They said, the hiding militants fired upon the security forces, which triggered into encounter.

“Encounter has started at #Zadoora area of #Pulwama. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow,” Tweets Kashmir Police Zone

According to sources, Two or three militants are believed to be trapped inside, however official confirmation is awaited.

Earlier, 4 Al-Badr militants were killed and one militant was caught alive.
