says Shah Feasal may join back administrative service
Srinagar : Two days after President Jammu and Kashmir People’s Movement (JKPM), IAS topper and bureaucrat turned politician, Shah Feasal removed his identity as the president of the party from his twitter account, media circles got flooded with the news that senior party leader Feroz Peerzada has taken over the charge of the party on Monday; however, Peerzada, while talking to KDC refuted these reports.
Peerzada said that he has not taken the charge of the party and for that matter any position and will never take any post in the future.
Commenting on Shah Fesal’s removing himself as the party president from his twitter account on Saturday, Peerzada said, “I am 150 KMs away from Srinagar in North Kashmir’s Sogam area and I don’t know Shah Feasal is up to; however reliable sources in the party have told me that Feasal has decided to end his career as a politician and he is joining back administrative services.”
Pertinently Shah Feasal had topped the IAS examination in the year 2010 and after a brief tenure as an officer under J&K cadre in the erstwhile state, he had left for United States (US) to join Harvard for advanced studies.
On his return from the US, Feasal said goodbye to administrative services to form a political party Jammu and Kashmir Political Movement, finally to land in detention of months along with other political leaders, including three former Chief Ministers, after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A on 5th August 2019.
Now that Feroz Peerzada has refuted the reports of him having taken over as the Party president, but confirming to have heard from inner circles that Shah Feasal is ending his a career as a politician and joining back service, has given all the reasons to believe that his political career was a very short-lived one.
