Srinagar : Family members and locals of HMT area in Srinagar today protested about their missing relative and sought the government to help them in tracing him.
As per family, 40-year-old Ghulam Rasool Wani, son of Musa Wani of Khushipora, HMT, went missing on July 24 while he was on morning walk.
They said since then they have not been able to trace him or find any clues about him.
The family said Wani’s family which includes his wife, brother and mother are in severe distress since their son went missing.
Carrying placards, the relatives and locals gathered in Press Enclave today and appealed the administration and police authorities to trace their son.
“My husband went for a morning walk in the locality. He didn’t carry any mobile phone with him during the walk. We have filed a missing report in the police station Parimpora. We urge the police to speed up his tracing, and take help from CCTV cameras which are installed on the way around Shareefabad army camp where my husband went for a walk,’ Haseena, wife of the missing citizen told news agency KDC.
