PATTAN: Inhabitants of pattan tehsil of Baramulla district have continued their protests for the Second day today alleging that instead of helping poor and needy people the authorities are helping political workers.
Flood hit families of Iqbal colony Pattan today blocked the Srinagar Muzaffarabad national highway for the second consecutive day today against district administration for Ignoring and neglecting their demands since last floods for Construction of Bund so that landslides could have been stopped.
But unfortunately instead of constructed bund to land sliding area bunds have been constructed to well wishers of political parties due to which in this hard time masque and other houses have been damaged and land sliding is still continue protesters alleged. These Families were shifted yesterday to higher Secondary School Pattan.
Protesters had also stopped Minister Baharat Bukhari Yesterday when he was on way to Baramulla. The minister has assured full govt support to help the flood hit people. This morning the people again held protests alleging that the authorities are helping to the blue eyed persons on the area.
