2 footwear shops owners booked
Srinagar: Police seized 3 tractors and arrested their drivers for violating lockdown orders in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Police sources told KNT that after receiving information that some tractor drivers are violating lockdown orders and are busy in tilling the agriculture land, police seized three tractors in Srigufwara area of Anantnag.
Sources identified the three tractor drivers as Tariq Ahmed Ahangar (JK03G-4691) a resident of Sallar, Shabir Ahmed Lone (JKO1D-9900) and Showkat Ahmed Wani (JK03E-7363), both residents of Bagwani area of Sringufwara.
An FIR vide number 18/2020 under section 188 was registered against the trio.
Meanwhile, police in Batamaloo area booked the owners of two footwear shops who were doing normal business in Batamaloo area of Srinagar.
A police official identified these shopkeepers as Muneer Ahmed Lungoo son of Muhammad Maqbool of Qamarwari and Muhammad Amin Lungoo son of Ghulam Muhammad of Baranpathar Batamaloo.
FIR vide number 41 and 42/2020 under section 188, 269 were registered against the duo. (KNT)
