Covid-19: Two surgeons among 7 patients discharged from Bla hospitals

Baramulla : At least seven persons including two surgeon doctors have been discharged from Baramulla and Sopore hospitals on Friday after they were tested negative.

According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), officials in the hospital administration said that two surgeon doctors were discharged from Sopore hospital and were kept under home quarantine after they were tested negative for deadly Coronavirus. Both the doctors had met deceased Covid-19 patient last week.

However, the other physician doctor is still under home quarantine from last couple of days, officials said, adding that he had contacted with the deceased Covid-19 patient.

Dr Rudyaana, Incharge Officer of Sopore Hospital told—KNO that both doctors got discharged and were sent for home quarantine after their reports tested negative.

Meanwhile, five patients were also discharged from Baramulla hospital for home quarantine after they were tested negative. 

They said all these five persons were in isolation at Baramulla hospital since last week, adding that they have received ten more patients today and kept them under quarantine.

Incharge of Sub District Sopore Hospital said that more than 200 patients are being screened here in the wake of the deadly disease coronavirus. She further said that hospital authorities have kept 25 persons under quarantine in Sopore hospital – (KNO)
