Srinagar: Youth clashes with police and paramilitary forces in Lal Chowk area of Srinagar on Saturday after reports of a man’s arrest from a hotel here.
Reports said that youth pelted stones on forces at several places in the area.
The forces responded by firing teargas pepper shells.
Earlier, city centre Lal Chowk descended into chaos following rumours that suspected militants had taken position inside a hotel here.
