Srinagar: In wake of ongoing situation in the Kashmir, the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar has suspended class work for all courses on Friday, till further order.
The order about suspension of class work was issued in accordance with the insturctions recieved from the District Administration Srinagar.
The panic gripped accross the Valley after the order issued by government in view of the intelligence input that Amarnath Yatra is being attacked by the militants, Yatris and tourists must curtail their visit and return to their homes immediately.
These developmets resulted in chaos at the base camps of Baltal in Sonmarg and Chandanwari at Pahalgam with pilgrims and tourists packing their bags and planning to go back.
Meanwhile, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan said that there is no order of closure of schools in the Valley.
