“The traditional parties have disempowered the masses economically for decades. The NC which talks about getting in power and leading people has to answer to the people of Kashmir. They have been in power for decades. If they have not been able to succeed in decades, how can they succeed now? They same set of people, the same set of cronies, the same principles of corruption and bloodshed define and govern them even now. They will be as bad as they have been in the past”, he asserted.
“Kashmir is going through testing times at the moment and we want to ask the NC that the high-pitched election battle, the war of words, the barrage of statement on a daily basis promising the moon, where on earth are their MP’s? Why are they not standing up for the people of Kashmir? Why are they scared and not speaking up on the state of affairs in Kashmir at the moment?”
Sajad said that PC will stand up for the people of Kashmir and be their voice. We will ensure to call a spade a spade and do what it takes to ensure that the present agonizing phase for the people of Kashmir comes to an end.
“We cherish a dream of an economically vibrant and a politically empowered Kashmir, which makes its inhabitants empowered enough to stand up for their rights, dignity and special identity”, he concluded. (PTK)
