Shortly afternoon when Traffic police cops launch documents checking exercise in Srinagar the Public transport buses of Bemina khomaie chock area disappears. The passengers Allege that the drivers of the said route inform the other bus drivers about traffic polices presence in Srinagar, which results in disappearances of public transport buses. And makes suffer hundreds of commuters who wait for public transport buses for hours.
Commuters face immense problems as they have to spend time on the roads in the search hot day with a hope to catch a chance conveyance but buses are not available.
“We hire autos to reach the destination and some time cover the distance on foot” Adul Ahad. The route is having already a shortage of buses. It contains huge area and population but lack of public transport hits our daily life.
” It takes hours to cover little distance, the shortage of buses results overloading, a passenger feels suffocation while boarding the buses. The passengers often fell unconscious while traveling to home” Nuzhat Jaan
The administration recently launches electric buses the local people welcome the move but urges the administration to take serious notice of Violations of Public transports.
