Social and political activist Asif Zargar in his precise request and report showed his deep concern and resentment about the abuse of drugs which has engulfed almost every youth in the valley.
He said that the whole society and particularly the administrative class is responsible for this menace. They should all look into the supply of drug dealing and they should strictly punish the drug peddlers who are expanding this menace recklessly and are exploiting the lives of youth.
All we need to do is that stand up against it’s abuse collectively as a society where every person from every sect will work to stop it. Concerned authorities need to look after the matter strictly and they must take a stern initiative to stop it.
As humans we must value a human life. We need to treat the drug victims in a better way and in a better atmosphere. Drug peddlers need to be counselled and barred for peddling drugs.
Also local masjids should appoint team of volunteers to check their locality and Mohalla’s on daily basis especially in evening hours.
