Srinagar: Conglomerate of militant outfit United Jihad Council Friday accused Jammu Kashmir Governor of misleading international community over Kashmir imbroglio.
In a statement to news agency CNS, UJC Chairman Syed Salahuddin said that it has become a routine for India to blame Pakistan for everything. “It were brave local militants who targeted Indian Forces in Pulwama in February and recently in Anantnag. No non-local militant was involved in these attacks,” he said.
Salahuddin said that the recent statement of Governor Satya Pal Malik blaming Pakistan is far from truth and it is an attempt to defame Kashmir Movement and mislead International Community. Salahuddin take a strong note of the statement of Governor wherein he termed the Anantnag attack as a dangerous signal for Amarnath Yatra. “This statement is an attempt to disturb communal harmony. Kashmiri are known for hospitality and whole world knows how decently people of Kashmir treat the Hindu Amarnath Yatra pilgrims,” he said adding that Kashmiris are known for helping Amarnath Yatris.
He said that Kashmiris have no option but to take to arms against India as this country is reluctant in accepting the ground reality. He also pays tribute to militants killed in recent gunfights. (CNS)
