Kishtwar : In its continuous stride against the nefarious designs of (ANEs) Anti National Elements, Army’s 26 RR and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Kishtwar Police on Sunday busted a hideout of militants in Panthna forests of Keshwan area.
The spokesman told KNO that army and SOG recovered Ammunition and other eatable items from the hideout.
“On a specific information regarding the hideout in Panthana Keshwan area under the jurisdiction of Police post Thakrie, a joint operation of Army 26 RR & Special Operation Group (SOG) of Kishtwar was launched in the area,” the spokesman told KNO.
He told KNO that during search, a hideout was busted in which 85 live Rounds of AK-47, 03 Nos AK-47 Magzines and some confectionery/daily useable itmes were recovered from the hideout.
“The hideout busted is just about half km away from the house of active LeT terrorist Jammal Din,” the spokesman told KNO.
Meanwhile, SSP Kishtwar told KNO that recovery of this cache shall result in defeating the nefarious designs of the militants of derailing the peace and stability of the region.
“The relentless efforts of the Security Forces proves their commitment towards maintaining peace in the region,” he told KNO.(KNO)
