SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM) president and former IAS officer Shah Faesal is in talks with Awami Ittihad Party (AIP) of former MLA Er Sheikh Abdul Rashid for forging alliance for coming assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sources told news Agency Press trust of Kashmir, “Both the party leaders are discussing modalities of the arrangement. It will take some time to understand future planning and party manifesto for the coming assembly election”.
Sources added, “With in coming days both the leaders will disclose the decision if leaders agree with the formula then both the parities may join heads together for assembly election”.
Assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir are likely to be held after Amarnath Yatra as Governor administration has informed Election Commission of India (ECI) that it would be convenient time for holding the polls in the State. (PTK)
