Srinagar: An appeal to help a seriously injured youth from Kulgam received an incredible response with at least 22 points collected on Wednesday even as more than 200 people turned out to help.

Highly reliable sources told GNS 22 points of blood were donated by youth for the injured Kulgam youth, Yawar Ahmad Lone (18), at SMHS.

They said that people from different parts of Valley joined to help the youth, who was injured due to live ammunition used by the government forces personnel against the protesters who took to streets in a bid to help the militants escape amid a tight cordon after a gunfight.
