G H Mir condemns Sumbal incident

Srinagar: Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) chief and former minister G H Mir on Monday condemned the shocking incident of rape of a minor girl in Sumbal area of Bandipora. Mir demanded that governor administration should probe the Sumbal rape incident on fast track basis and punish the culprit on fast track trial.

“My heart goes out for the family and the child. I share my grief with the family at this painful time,” he said in a statement issued to KNS.
Mir said that the governor administration should form an investigation team to probe the heinous crime in time bound manner. (KNS)
