SRINAGAR: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), State Spokesperson and Sarpanch of Dadsara Village of Tral area of Pulwama district in south Kashmir said that his village would be mud free in one year.
Thakur said that he has promised on 3rd February at SKICC, Srinagar to honorable PM Narendra Modi that Dadsara would be made mud free village in one year. “Modi Ji assured full support in fulfilling this dream,” Thakur said.
Thakur also said that important link roads connecting Dadsara with Ladiyar, Nowdal, Naibug, Lalgam and Aaligund villages will be macadamized in next few months.
Thakur said he has started many developmental works in Dadsara Village and the pace of works would be intensified in coming days.
“Construction of lanes, drains and important link roads has begun in the village and in coming days all the streets, drains and link roads will be made concrete,” he said.
Thakur lambasted successive leaders in the area for compounding miseries of general public. “Our local leaders have failed to mitigate the sufferings of people here. They only made their families from rags to riches, but did nothing for common people, “Thakur said. (PTK)
