‘Let Abdullahs make Rahul to announce restoring pre-1953 situation’
Srinagar: Peoples Conference senior Vice President and former minister Abdul Gani Vakil today said the leadership of NC and PDP has nothing to offer for the people except extending their miseries and uncertainty in the state which is a reason for the prevailing political crisis.
In a statement issued here, one thing is to be admitted that the leadership of both these parties had shown the race in civil killings.
“In Omar Abdullah’s tenure over 140 were killed and in 150 civilians were killed during Mehbooba’s tenure. They can go to any extent even at the cost of dead bodies for their power,” he added.
Vakil said the Chairman of Peoples Conference has exposed Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah when in 2014 they made every effort to form the Govt with the support of BJP.
Lambasting at NC leadership, Vakil said NC cannot blame others for having links with BJP when Omar Abdullah had first political berth in BJP government as union minister of foreign affairs whose task was to tell the world that Kashmir issue was a non issue, everything is alright there and no human rights violations were taking place.
“Not only that BJP was so dear to Farooq Abdullah that he shunted Prof. Saif udin Soz from the party for not supporting BJP Government to continue in power,” he said.
Vakil asked NC leadership to stop befooling people in the name of restoration of Sadre Riyasat and Prime Minister.
Hitting hard at Congress, Vakil added people are well aware that the Congress which abolished these two posts and deprived people of the state from the 1953 position is an electoral ally of NC.
“If NC leadership is sincere in restoration of Sadre Riyasat and PM then Farooq Abdullah make Rahul Gandhi should to announce the same,” he said.
Vakil appealed people to be cautious of double standards of NC and PDP and give them a befitting reply by defeating them in the elections as their wrong decisions on different occasions that made the state a graveyard to leaving thousands killed, hundreds lost their eye sight and hundreds became handicapped.
