While seeking valued individual votes from the masses irrespective of their religion, region or caste, Lok Sabha Candidate contesting elections from Poonch, Prof. Bhim Singh assured the electorate that he will reverberate aspirations and sufferings of Muslims, Hindus, Gujjars, Bakerwals, Sikhs and other weaker sections of the population in August House of Parliament, if elected.
District Bar Association Poonch appreciated commendable role of Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party and Candidate for 6 – Jammu Parliamentary Constituency in establishment of Law Commission centre in J&K, fighting Human Right violation cases in the Hon’ble Supreme Court as well other High Courts in the country to seek justice even for foreign nationals. Bar President Poonch, Mohd. Zaman, Adv. Saleem Sheikh, Secretary, State Legal Aid Committee & Iftiquar Ahmed Bazmi extended warm welcome to Prof. Bhim Singh and urged upon him to safeguard human values of the neglected and poor people of border district Poonch which is always at the receiving end of continuous ceasefire violations at the borders from our neighbour. They demanded permanent solution to the smouldering heat of mortars, incessant bullet showers and machine guns which ultimately result in killings of human beings, bovines and destruction of property on both sides.
On this occasion Sajad Ahmed Chouhan, Secretary Bar Association, Karan Bali, Anuj Mohan Kapoor and Hanwant Kour, Advocates expressed gratitude to Bhim Singh, Sr. Advocate Supreme Court of India for contesting Parliamentary elections to uphold rule of law and human values in the troubled situation for strengthening secular and nationalist forces.
Today JKNPP contesting candidate, Bhim Singh accompanied by senior party leaders Anita Thakur, Ashfaq Rana, Kuldeep Sharma and others visited Shri Budha Amarnath Shrine in Mandi Loran (Surankote) and held prayers for peace and prosperity of the masses, suffering under corrupt and mis-rule of politicized administration. Everywhere Panthers entourage was welcomed by common masses, who complained of their multiplying daily problems at the hands of functionaries in Revenue, Irrigation, Electricity, PHE and Medical Health, besides almost defunct Animal Husbandry Centres. Most of junior schools near the LoC and remote helmets in Poonch district are often found closed due to no accountability at any level. Life saving drugs and other necessary medicines are always short and Non-available in the Health Centres, Clinics.
Panthers demand redressal of all public grievances in the area and concerted attention of Deputy Commissioners, district responsible officers and senior doctors in the District – sub – District, hospitals and health centres.
