Rajouri : A soldier was killed while as three others were injured after Pakistani army attacked several posts of Indian army firing in Keri Battal of Sunderbani sector along LoC in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
An army official said that the Pakistan army in violation of ceasefire opened unprovoked fire and mortar shells resulting in injuries to four army men. “All of them were evacuated to nearby military health facility where one among the injured succumbed later”.
The soldiers manning the fence responded the fire effectively, the officer said.
The firing started at 05:30 am and continued till 07:15 am, the official said. (GNS)
