Tral Gunfight : Three militants killed, operation on

​Srinagar: Three militants were killed in a gunfight with the government forces in Pinglish area of Tral in south Kashmir’ s Pulwama district on Sunday, army said.

“Three militants killed. Operation in progress,” said an army spokesman in Srinagar.

The identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained, reports said.

The gunfight broke out soon after a joint team of army, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search-operation in the area following inputs about the presence of Jaish-e-Mohammad militants.
