Two militants killed in Shopian gunfight, operation on

Srinagar: Two militants have been killed in an ongoing gunfight with militants in Meemender village of southern Kashmir’s Shopian district.
The gunfight erupted after a joint team of army, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir police launched a cordon and search operation in Meemandar on specific inputs about the presence of militants.
As forces intensified searches towards suspected spot hiding militants fired upon government forces triggering an encounter.
