SRINAGAR : While reacting over the recent statement of the Nizam Uddin Bhat former Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Bandipora Constituency over the development work in the area, Usman Majeed, MLA bandipora calls him a liar, a deceiver.
Usmaan told PTK that it was an unfortunate period for the people of constituency that Bhat remains MLA for 6 years. He said that it is the Bhat who did nothing of the people adding that Bhat is now blocking the developmental work of the constituency for his political rivalry.
“He is a liar, a deceiver. He is doing politics which is easy but never executed his commitment with the people. He can’t speak truth as he has failed”, he said.
Usmaan said that the bandipora was given to BEACON by him which actually shows how much he is interested in the developmental work.
He said that Beacon is not accountable to the state government that creates problems to address the issues immediately. “I wanted this road to be handed over to R&B. I have pushed hard for this road to be given to R&B. R&B is accountable and then only we can get the issue fixed at earliest”, he said.
He said that the people of bandipora have realized that Bhat was an unfortunate period of this constituency. “He has lost his opportunity. He was given enough time”, he said.
Pertinently Bhat has earlier alleged NC, Congress for blocking developmental work in the constituency.
