SRINAGAR: Appealing Govt. of India to give up its hostile and offensive approach towards militants, AIP Supremo and MLA Langate, Er. Rasheed has reiterated that killing militants and celebrating over their dead bodies will take Indian nowhere.
During a daylong interaction with students of various colleges in Srinagar today, Er. Rasheed said that unless New Delhi doesn’t introspect the darker side of its hot pursue policy towards those having taken arms in their hands, situation will become from bad to worse.
He said that, “New Delhi needs to be reminded that had it shown sincerity when talks between five top commanders and Indian state took place in Srinagar, situated would have been altogether different and the youth would have loved to be part of a sincere, genuine and concrete political process that would have culminated at the resolution of Kashmir dispute within a stipulated time”.
He said that New Delhi’s cheating everyone especially militants on table has rendered even irrelevant as on date. “The support top Hizb Commander Aaqib Molvi got during encounter and the huge participation in his funeral has yet again proved that militants are the real representatives and custodians of sentiment”, he said.
He lashed out at so called Nationalist media for trying to portray as if every Kashmiri is a terrorist and added that rather introspecting why people didn’t got threatened by General Rawat’s warnings, the ultra-nationalist media is leaving no stone unturned to communalise and criminalise the situation in J&K. He added,“The resistance movement in whatsoever form is neither limited to any amalgam or individual nor lacks popular support.
Rasheed said, “Now when it has become a routine that thousands rush to encounter sites without caring for their lives, it is self-explanatory that hatred against India has reached its peak. Just adopting offensive and hot pursue operations against militants may bring promotions and perks for security agencies but all these incidents encourage and persuade youth to conclude that there is no political resolution to the dispute of Jammu & Kashmir, so they prefer to take to arms and remind India of its broken promises”.
